    have anybody tried this already?

i'm planning to shift to this whiz motor oil for diesel for my 2 4ja1. its already a semi synthetic oil with ci4 spec with a 15w-50 viscosity. i'm using shell helix plus diesel 10w-40 with cf spec for about 2 years now and very satisfied naman ako. but this whiz oil is cheaper php240/ltr while the shell oil is php316/ltr. the whiz oil has the better spec because it already has a ci4 spec while the shell oil is cf only.

every 3000km nga pala ako mag-change oil so i will save more with this whiz oil.

what do you think guys? should i go for it?

here's a link of the said oil http://whizoil.com/products.php?grab...n=view_details

bro i'm not a mechanic, but in my opinion since ok naman performance ng ride mo using shell pagtiyagaan mo na lang yung price. kasi in the process of changing baka magkaroon ng hidden stress yung old engine mo and later on more cost will comes into the picture. isa pa kapag di mo na-remove properly yung old oil, it might create some emulsion of some sort dun sa new oil at lalo ma-damage yung engine mo. i might be wrong, can somebody correct my opinion pls...

Some emulsion of some sort? You are just babbling NONSENSE.

Changing your brand of oil to another is fine as long as the grade is specified by the engine manufacturer. In this case 15w-50 viscosity is ok.

i've been using the whiz motor oil for 2 days now and very much the same lang sila ng performance ng shell helix plus diesel. mas madulas lang ng konting konti yung shell. sa shell it gives me 13.29km/l(average) on my fuel consumption. dati 12km/l(average) nung delo gold multifrage ang gamit ko. ngayon will check it with a full tank of diesel for a week kung ilan difference sa fuel consumption. will post later

7x na ako nakapagpafull tank since i tried whiz motor oil and pretty much the same lang ang fuel consumption ng whiz motor oil versus shell helix plus diesel.

bro, nagtanong lang ako kung may nakasubok na nito. e wala pa pala hehehe. that's why i shared my experience of using it ;)
