based on THE ULTIMATE CAR GUIDE: Car Profiles - Toyota Vios, its 93 RON. pero you can confirm it sa manual.

RON 91 kasi nakalagay sa owner's manual ng Yaris so I assumed na same with Vios.

    Toyota Vios/Yaris engine:

    Engine Code: 2NZ-FE
    Engine Size: 1299cc (1.3)
Fuel Type: Petrol - Unleaded ULP
    RON Rating: 91

    Engine Code: 1NZ-FE
    Engine Size: 1497cc (1.5)
Fuel Type: Petrol - Unleaded ULP
    RON Rating: 91

Nope. The Vios just requires 91RON. imageuploadedbytsikot-forums1429264226.795462.jpg

I've been using exclusively 91RON for a few months now, after a period of comparing the performance and FC with 95 RON. Noticed no difference so went with the cheaper one.

You can try unioil 91 or 95 octane. But I prefer 95 octane. Dati petron, shell at seaoil ako nagpapagas lahat nag engine knock. Once i tried unioil never na nag engine knock. So ngaun unioil nako lagi. Mag 1 year nako sa unioil so far so good. Vios sakin gen 2.5.

Been using 91 on my vios wala namang knocking.

Weird if there's a knock with low end fuels. Maybe timing related?

Flat roads yung may engine knock sayo?
