+1 dito. This is how I checked the correct ViC oil filter for the Vitara. The former owner forced-fit a Lancer oil filter kasi.

It is also indicated on the ViC filter box what OEM part numbers it is supposed to substitute. So if you know your filter's part number, just look for it on the box.

Sa isang Shell dito sa amin, a Nissan Patrol with a 4.2 diesel engine was fitted with the teensy-weensy oil filters intended for a Kia Pride! Wala yata yung tamang filter and nagkataon nag-match ang thread nung pang Kia. Baka hindi pa nakakalayo yun, barado na filter. hehe. Ang laki ng oil capacity ng Patrol.

nah you won't loose oil pressure with a big filter as long as you compensate for the extra capacity by adding a little more oil. on my other car i have a pretty big aftermarket oil cooler and oil filter relocator kit on it which adds about 1 liter of oil capacity and i have no oil pressure drop.

    Ride:00 Civic 1.6

    Thanks

We use VIC oil filters and VIC fuel filter element on our 2008 hilux. So far, so good naman. I've been changing the oil filter every 5,000 kilometers and the fuel filter element every month more or less around 1,000-1,200 kilometers. Hindi ko pa nasubukan gumamit ng ibang filter other than VIC, if ever what brand can you guys suggest? Salamat po!

If there are better but cheaper filter options in the market, why not? I will buy a better filter (like baldwin, fleetguard, etc) over ViC anytime...

Indeed sir those are cheaper than VIC. Nagtataka nga ako eh, bakit ang mahal ng VIC filter?
