    Yung Corolla 2e 1.3 Carburetor ko, Petron XCS or Shell V-Power ginagamit ko kasi sensitive daw sa octane yung mga Carburetors, mas maganda ang andar basta on higher octane fuels ...

    Pero I don't have any idea what to use now on my Corolla Bigbody GLi EFI engine .. Marami akong nakitang mga Vios nilalagyan ng sticker ang gas tank cover ng Unleaded which means unleaded lng kinakarga nila .. Marami ring taxi driver nagsasabing nakaka clog daw ng fuel injector ang mga higher octane na fuel kaya unleaded lng din ginagamit nila .. Sabi din ng iba, hindi na daw kailangan ng higher octane para sa mga EFI engines kasi kusang nag a-adjust ang makina kahit mababa ang octane ng fuel mo ...

    Right now, I'm just using Shell Fuel Save which is a regular unleaded fuel.

    Magbabara ba fuel injector ko or magkaka problema ba auto ko kung mag change ako ng V-Power or XCS in the future ??

    recommended octane rating sa 4afe 93 RON. basta nasa stock timing ang distributor, hindi totope (mag knock) yan. unleaded? lahat na ng gasolina ngayon unleaded. mapa 93, 95, 98 100 RON. gusto mo maiwasan magbara ang fuel injector mo? sundin mo ang nakalagay sa manual na palit ng fuel filter. usually every 80k kms. pero depende pwedeng mas maaga. hindi maselan yan 4afe sa gasolina basta nasa tamang timing ang distributor.

    sayang lang pera mo kung mag 95 RON ka kung 93 RON lang naman ang recommended. pero mura naman gasolina ngayon eh. hehe. depende sayo wala masama kung mag mataas na octane ka, ang masama magkarga ka ng mas mababa sa minimum na recommended para sa makina mo. so walanf magiging problema kung mag XCS or mag blaze ka pa. yun lang nga sayang din yung pera magkano din yun pag nag full tank ka.

    93 RON ang recommended ??? Pano yan eh ang kinarga ko ay Shell Fuel Save which has a 91 RON rating .... Anong mangyayari sa makina ko ngayon na nka Fuel Save ako ???

    wala. next na pakarga mo mag 93 RON ka na lang. hindi masisira yan makina mo kung 91 lang ang nakarga mo. unless long term and long term din ang pag tope. masisira lang yan kung diesel ang naikarga. actually hindi pa nga eh. haha. ok lang yan. dont worry.

    ok lang yan bro kung wala namang knocking...... otherwise, shift to a higher octane.

    ok lang yan bro kung wala namang knocking...... otherwise, shift to a higher octane.

    To prevent fuel/spark knock(tope) or engine detonation.use a higher octane rating fuel(95+). The higher the octane number,the better able the fuel to resist detonation. Hindi porket mura,eh makakatipid ka.performance and fuel efficiency wise.

    EFI's are designed to accomodate new ethanol based gasoline fuels. Ethanol fuels are not compatible with carburated engines as ethanol really loves moisture resulting to carburator cloggings.

    Wheather hi-octane or low will depend on your engines compression ratio. a compression ratio of >11 will benefit on hi-octane. <11 better to use low octane as there are no significant gain on the engine whilst paying more on the pumps.

    okey naman sa akin..hindi naman kailan nagbara.
    basta yearly nagpapalit ako ng fuel filter,kahit malinis pa siya,,

    unleaded lang kinakarga ko..saka dapat mag stick to one ka lang ng gas station.kung sa shell pakiramdam mo na maginhawa makina mo.dun kana lang palagi mag pa refill ng fuel mo...

    I have a 1992 Gli and in the owners manual, toyota recommends using 95 RON gasoline.
