    Oo nga 'no?

Pag sa labas ako nagpapa-oil change, isang lata/bote ng oil flush yung ginagamit. Mine's a 2.5L, with 6L oil capacity.

Hirap kasi extremes eh. Not enough flush leaves some of the previous oil's sludge in the engine. Too much flush and the fresh oil becomes too thin to protect the engine.

It's the small "5 minute" engine flushes that are usually harsh on the engine components... If you're flushing, flushing oils (i.e. Caltex flushing oil) is more adviseable; use around half the equivalent of your engine's capacity. Using a cheap engine oil is also ok...

My 2.8 4m40 Pajero engine used to undergo overnight draining every oil change. At full drain, it needs about 7.5 liters of oil , parang V8 sized engine na yun yet the casa uses just one can of oil flush.

But I guess there's no harm in adding an extra can, especially if you got the extra cash .
