unrepairable carb

hi. went to our mechanic yesterday, and after series of checking it was discovered that the carb is irreparable. there is this small thing inside the carb that was broken by the previous mechanic and we were advised to replace the carb whether with a surplus or a bnew (which is really costly) Btw, my car is a honda esi 92 model. any suggestion on the carb? is it really irreparable? i want to seek second opinion on the carb but i don't know anyone who knows. I heard there are lots in kamuning, but i don't know where and who in particular. I would appreciate any suggestion. Thanks.

sir buy a brand new carb, for sure it will last the lifetime na halos ng sasakyan mo iyon since old model na rin ang ESI.

but if you are in a tight budget, pwede na rin ang surplus.

If it's not repairable, change your engine to something more economical ( EFi pa ) d15b, i suppose ?
