    Toyota 2C Normally Aspirated Engine:

    Mga Sir,

    Pinalitan ng mechaniko ung water pump pero kailangan tanggalin ang timing belt.

    Pag kabit nag hard starting tapos maingay di ko alam kung fuel o mechanical knock eh.

    Pero di naman ginalaw ung posisyon ng crank and camshaft eh.

    Ano kaya magadang gawin? Nasira kaya ang camshaft or valves ko?

    Better to have it double-checked to be sure. Even if you don't think you moved anything, you're not sure unless you've checked the alignment of the timing marks.

    Update : Binalikan mekaniko, di na sya hard starting medjo nausok lang ang problema maingay ano kaya problem ngayon?

    I just fired him.

    Sabi nya injector daw. Ung tunog kasi parang pina amoy mo un diesel ng lighter fluid nag aaccellerate ung tunog na parang sasabog ung makina. Chinek ng kapatid ko ung timing may konting off siguro 1 teeth ng belt tapos ung injection pump imbis nasa uno ung pointer nasa kabilang dulo. Ang pinagtataka ko bakit wala sya gaano usok at tumatakon naman. Di ko pa alam kung ano nagnyari kasi iniwan ko kapatid kong engineer na gumagawa baka bukas may update na.

    Halos ganito ung tunog pero walang ganyang tunog dati. YouTube - ‪6.2 diesel injector knock‬‏.

    Parang ganto rin ung tunog minus the smoke tapos from cold start heater ko sya 10 secs. tapos starter for 3 secs mga 2 to 3 tries mag start sya [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orbbourGCOQ&feature=related]YouTube - ‪6.5 diesel injector knock 1‬‏[/ame]

    There are 3 timing marks you need to check, overhead cam shaft, injector pump, and crank shaft. If these 3 timing marks are dead center your engine should start normally.

    Madali na sya start at di na mausok kaso parang sasabog ang makina sa ingay.

    At parang nag a accelerate ung ingay nya. Di namin alam kung saan nangagaling.

    I think that's it....air in fuel lines kaya noisier ang injection. am still not sure though. kelan ba nagbleed? after the 1st or 2nd visit of the mechanic?

    Nung first visit nag bleed ung mechanic. tapos very hard starting baka nga na ubos ung diesel kaya ayaw mapaandar nung isang brother ko, bumili sya ng diesel at kinarga umandar naman kaso hard starting. Ung second visit ng siraniko ni re time ung injection pump pero di nag bleed. kaya cguro nag easy start na eh medjo malapit na ang injection timing nya.

    Nung binuksan namin kasi 2 ngipin ang lampas nya sa markings. Un naman sa camshaft nya parang matulis naman lahat ung lobe pero di pa namin tinatanggal sa head ung camshaft. inikot lang namin para malaman kung may nasirang lobe.. so far ala naman.

    maybe a stupid question but need to ask.. nung bang nagset uli ng timing pinaikot ba uli ng mga ilang beses to verify the marks?
