August 20th, 2008 07:27 AM #1hi,
currently i am an turbo xp oil user (since my car was bought year 2000). until now. so far ok naman ang takbo nya, yun nga lang balak ko magpalit ng oil to royal purple. me tamang step ba kapag magpapalit ka ng brand oil? or simpleng drain lang overnight, ayos na?
ang balak ko kasi ganito:
- drain overnight
- put higher weight royal purple
- run for 1km
- drain oil overnight
- put the right weight of royal purple
- change oil again after 5km
or overkill ang ganito?

August 20th, 2008 07:48 AM #2Sa tingin ko overkill nga. Kung ako yan, I'll just drain the old oil, replace it with RP, change the filter and leave it for 7500 km or more. Use the extra fund na lang to change your tranny oil to fully synthetic.
Don't expect dramatic changes, but FS oil will pay you in due time.

^^ overkill yan bro. just have it drained properly for around 30 minutes and you are done. just make sure you observe the proper change oil intervals.
OT: hitman, ako yung kausap mo sa car cover. akin na yan ha?
