helo mam, kung magpapalit po kayo ng atf (automatic transmission fluid) make it sure na tama po ang atf na ilalagay. baka kasi donax ang ilalagay na atf ng shell sira sigurado ang transmission mo. i'm not familiar kung anong atf ng liteace you can check it sa net kung wala kayong owner's manual. congratz on your new ride.

    welcome po sa tsikot.

I could guess It's a 2CT or 3CT engine. 4x4 ba?. I have posted some specs of 2CT in here: click

for Oils, you can go from 10w40(diesel) to 15w40(diesel). make sure you change Oil+filter every 5000km. for the Oil filter, go for Nippon oil filter brands if you want to save big time...

    some tips:

    1. have the Air filter Changed. mura lang yan, 250 pesos more or less (then have it changed on it's schedule...
    2. make sure you put coolant mix on your radiator. these aces have reputation for overheating.
    3. the ATF is dexron II (or Dexron III), make sure when you have it changed, palinis mo rin yung Strain/filter and the magnet located at the atf pan...
    4. when the time comes for overhaul (hopefuly not soon), make sure the mechanic knows the right valve clearances. the in and out clearances are different... the clearance specs are posted on the link too...

kenzie: PS ' may diesel pala na liteace?
    yes, sa JDM lang...

try mo CITGO Citgard 500 15w40 for diesel engines, you can get them by Magallanes at BMG bldg.

my opinion is that engine can take anything, even delo monograde, hehe (i ran this oil in my pajero 4 years ago).

have no fear, shell oil is good. mahal lang ng konti.

    Used fully synthetic oil.

Suggest engine oil for Toyota Lite-Ace
