Anyone tried using it already as a temporary fix for leaks in head gasket?

It could be a temporary fix but it is a case to case basis. Kapag masyado ng malaki ang butas, I doubt if it will work

It will work if the damage isn't that extensive..

Before anyone jumps to conclusion or guess, first identify what is leaking. Is it fluid or gas? If it is fluid, is it antifreeze/coolant, fuel or lube oil?

Ditto ... just had "engine" leak repaired ... went to 2 shops who diagnosed it as a front wheel bearing / gasket leak and repair would cost about 2000++ ... went to dealer and diagnosis was to tighten power steering hose ... cost to repair only 420.00 ...

If head gasket leak is the main culprit (proven, tested, confirmed), then the only fix for that is a new head gasket.

if you're stuck somewhere in the boondocks, it may work but I'd rate that possibility to a slim 10% over a 100.

    i haven't tried it.
my concern is, it might block the coolant passages, resulting in overheating, localized or generalized.
    who has tried it here?

DON'T use it !!! There are no shortcut remedies for such problems. Go find a competent shop and have them replace the head gasket.

As a temporary fix, I think it would work.
If you decide to try, please let us know the result (grin)

Hello po. I'm a newbie here. Magpapatulong po sana ako. I need your advices po. My car is a '95 Nissan Sentra Super Saloon (GA16 yung makina)

Recently, my car engine overheated. Naghahalo yung oil and tubig. Took a week bago nagawa, then kinabit na lahat, changed the oil. Nirelease na after days, pero sobrang usok kaya binalik ko then nakita na humahalo pa din. Ang ginawa na naman sa cylinder head is pina hydro test then wala naman nakitang crack, pero sabi nung mekaniko may nakita daw silang crack palitan na daw yung cylinder head. So yun, nagpalit kami ng surplus worth 16k. Pina overhaul din yung radiator.

Then ok na daw, hindi ko pa masyadong ginamit kasi mausok ng sobra pero dahil lang daw yun sa sinusunog yung bagong parts. I checked the radiator cap naghahalo pa din yung oil and water. Ang sinasabi ng mekaniko is may tama na naman daw yung cylinder head. Ang pinagbilhan ko nun is a credible dealer of car parts (CBROS) and kakilala namin so good one yung binigay. Ano po ba sa tingin nyo yung sira? Yung mekaniko kasi parang hindi naman talaga marunong pa. Gusto nya palit lang ng palit hindi nya naman nakikita kung ano talaga yung sira. Sorry po for the long post. Please help thanks a lot po!
