June 19th, 2008 10:08 AM #2Ano ang problema w/ your 2CT, pwede kasing isolated sa Turbo, Injection system, clutch/transmission, or sa engine ang problema. Siguro bago mo ipabaklas yan at least there is a strong probability na yun nga ang dapat gawin para iwas gastos.

June 19th, 2008 11:59 AM #4Yung makina na malakas kumain ng langis (excessive blue smoke, low oil level in short period of time), either sa varvula or sa piston rings/cylinder walls ang problema, para malaman, ipa-compression at leak tests mo ang engine, pwede ata gawin kay sir speedyfix ang mga yan kung malapit ka sa shop nila.
OT ano ba mileage (I mean fuel consumption) ng 2CT mo ngayon at dati me nagbebenta kasi sa kakilala ko.

yun talaga ang problema, mechanics are not familiar with these engines. try mo contact si alwayz_yummy. he used to have a 2c-t overhauled. he also has a webpage about it here
we already experienced a 2c-t with a worn out turbo. the ct12 turbo is interchangable with 3c-t's ct9 turbo. we also have a worn out 2c-t, but we decided to have it engine change.
just incase, I think you can find a surplus 2CT for 18k.

application for change engine lang sa patrol po. sorry, no personal experience sa process. I suggest you do a search here about how to apply change engine. may detailed explanation po tayo tungkol dyan dito.
