February 28th, 2014 09:48 AM #11Sir salamat po sa reply, kaso nalinis na po nung mekaniko ung throttle body last friday.. Oto ko po pla is honda city 97 matic. Mga iba pa po plang ginawa sa oto ko are, tune up, palit fuel filter kagabi lng, pero na fluctuate pa rin pero hindi na ganun kadalas kagaya nung dati. may iba pa po kayang panggagalingan ung sakit ng oto ko? Thanks in Advance po sa mga sasagot.

i hate to cross the bridge before i get in front of it, but the most common fault of this symptom is a bad tps. your tps has three terminals. check continuity/resistance between the top and the bottom terminals. if the resistance is infinite, it's time to replace it. if there is continuity and less than infinite resistance, do a sweep between the middle and either top or bottom terminal of the sensor. if at somewhere about 40% throttle opening you find a glitch, the tps is bad. try running the engine at around a threshold of 2000 rpm, this is the most common engine speed when the engine "hunts" if the tps is faulty

Another incident knina lng, pag start ko ng oto mejo mataas ang rpm.i remember mga 1200, wlang apak sa gas..tapos tumaas pa bigla i believe hanggang 1500-2000, tapos biglang bigla din bumagsak ang rpm tapos tuluyan syang namatay. Hindi ko inistart muna agad, then inistart ko 1click nagstart nman sya with normal rpm range. Kaso along the way may time na bumabagsak pa rin ang rpm pag naka idle pero awa ng diyos nakabalik pko ng bahay ng hindi namamatayan. Patulong nman po

March 1st, 2014 04:27 AM #15Kapag lumamig ang oto at inistart, for sure mataas ang idle and its normal sa oto natin at dapat kusang bababa yun in few minutes.
Hmm, biglang namatay. Check/replace fuel pump, check fuel lines and Check/replace fuel filter. I recently have the issue, ok siya in 1-2km run after that walang anu ano, biglang mamatay ang oto. Undetected ang fuel pump maski pa-scan mo.
IACV - Idle Air Control Valve or Servo - look ka sa net on how to DIY or pabaklas mo sa mechaniko para linisin yung Throttle Body, IACV, MAF (if equip)
Yung sa akin, pinagawa ko eh replace fuel pump, clean the gasoline Tank, replace fuel filter, clean TB, IACV and MAF. Ayun nawala na yung problema ko na biglang babagsak ang RPM at mamatayan ka sa kalsada na di mo alam kung ano nangyari.

Ang problema ko naman sa akin mataas ang rpm pagnaka idle... 1200 tapos minor nya nasa 1000

March 13th, 2014 12:13 AM #18Update ko kau sir, yesterday ni-replace ko po ignition coil. So far steady na po ang idling ng oto on nuetral, at hindi na sya namamatay or hard start. Nung binuksan kasi ng mekaniko may konting nabago sa complexion ng cover ng ignition coil. Prang may konting sunog, pero since nung pinalitan nga e hindi na ulit nagloloko ang oto.
