January 12th, 2011 08:53 AM #1Question lang po pahelp. just bought my kia sedan lx 1995 a week ago, pina curb. tune-up ko na, ang problem now eh diba ang normal RPM eh 800~900rpm, kaso pag ganyan ung rpm at nag headlight on ako, bumamagsak sa 500 ung rpm, then pag tumapak pa ko ng clutch ayun lalo bumababa ung rpm 'til mag off na yung makina, kaya ang ginawa kong normal rpm nya pag nkaoff ung headlight is around 1100rpm para pag nag-on ng headlight then tapak ng clutch, nasa around 700~800 lang rpm at hindi mamatayan ng makina. nga pala nung pina curb tuneup ko 'to, may kulang na part na hindi naikabit co'z gabi na nang natapos yung tuneup & late napansin na wala palang hose at hindi naka kabit yung IDLE-UP kasi pag on ng aircon ayun bagsak RPM, kaya hindi ko muna ino-on ung aircon, I dunno if may connection yung idle-up ng aircon sa pag bagsak ng RPM pag naka on ung HEADLIGHT then tapak clutch.. hirap kasi hassle sobra lagi namamatayan ng makina pag normal RPM na 800~900rpm.. hope you could help me agad sa problem ko na 'to. thanks alot sir! btw... if sino may kilalang mod sa kiaprideclub eh pls naman paki activate yung account ko, ivan_gates*y.c email ko po.tnx uli

thanks sa reply sir! papakabit ko yung Idle Up Actuator pag nagkapera na ko, btw sir, pinagtataka ko lang, dahil nga bumababa ang menor pag naka-ON ang Aircon kaya hindi ko na ginagamit ang aircon lagi na lang siyang naka-OFF. Kaso yun nga ang nagiging problem eh kahit naka off ung aircon bsta pag nag Headlight na ko then tapak ng Clutch, ayun bagsak na RPM ko 'til mamatay na yung makina. sir if ever ba eh connectect yung Idle up sa pagbagsak ng menor menor ko kahit nakaOFF ung aircon basta Headlight lang naka ON bumabagsak parin RPM ko?

January 14th, 2011 12:49 AM #5The reason kung bakit bumababa ang rpm kapag naka-on ang headlight ay may karagdagang load na pinapasan ang alternator para mag-generate ng mas malakas na current. The more load sa alternator, mas mahirap sya paikutin ng makina through the fan belt.

January 15th, 2011 10:21 AM #7You first have to find out why the rpm drops when the clutch is depressed. It could be an electrical wiring problem.
You can go to any battery shop and have them check the voltage of the battery and condition of the alternator. Check the voltages when the car is idling with no accessories turned on, and check when the aircon, lights and stereo are on.
