    Hi,

I'm thinking of repairing a loose thread hole instead of purchasing a surplus head or brand new head.

    Thanks

Convert it to stud. A stud has two threaded sides. Baon mo one side and put locktite para permanent then put a nut on the other side to fasten what ever needs to be fasten and torque it as specified. I did it on a 4d56 camshaft cap before in school, natuwa and teacher ko sa ginawa ko. I hope it can apply to your problem. Goodluck!

you can use re-threading kit but you will use a bigger size of bolt since you will re-thread that portion.. you can buy that in any hardware store or stores that specializes in bolts and nuts..
