sae-40 po ng shell is rimula j,yun kulay pula na container ng shell is rimula d with 15w-40 viscosity,ok na po ang rimula d or you can try also rimula x..if you change oil regularly naman ok lang kahit mineral based oil ang gamitin.

sir, kung sae 40 lng na oil gingamit mo, thats just a monograde oil, look at you owner manual kung ano oil specified ng company... as for your semi syn or synthetic oil... it might be true to what they are saying depending on the status of your engine or the condition it is in... kung mataas na tinakbo nyan there is a chance that synthetic or semi-syn wouldnt work becuase of wear and tear sa engine components mo or the pistons and maninpis kc lahat ng synthetic na oil... so maybe it wouldnt lubricate that well because of the wear and tear sa pistons mo or piston lining and might be advisable to use multigrade oil with 15w40 or higher.... but it woul dbe best to stick to the recommended oil by the company...

    correct!

invest ka na lang sa mineral at filters (oil and air)
kahit every 5K ka magpalit mas mura pa rin in the long run and your engine will thank you.

thanks for the replies! according to my dial, ang kotse ko ay nakapaglakbay na ng halos 700,000miles.. hehehe.. with a one or two times overhauled na yung engine.. thanks po sa advice sir nikko! sir jarhead, what about the multigrade 15w-40 or higher types? is it synth already? or another mineral oil that is higher quality? wala pa po kasi akong gaanong alam pag dating sa oils.. pinagaaralan ko pa lang kasi sa ngayon naman po, my car has an acceptable "hatak" or power using SAE-40 for atleast 7months na.. dapat nakapag pachange oil na nga ako eh.. ipon muna.. kaya ako nagbaka sakaling mag semi or synth kasi, baka mas malubricate niya ng mas maayos and mas gumanda yung hatak nung engine and mas onti yung drag sa piston and other areas that needed to be lubricated inside the engine.

    cheers!!!
