Hello. Im here to ask for advise. Early this week I had my Honda ESI checked. It was working okay and I just wanted to have it checked since I would be having a long trip from province to province. I was quoted with this price.

1. Tune-up fix distributor oiling, adjust valve and clean sensor. 1,200
2. Change oil with filter - 1,520
3. fix tight thrilling arm, replace bushing - 2,400
4. Replace Radiator fan - 900
5. Front suspension rattle check - 1,820.

I didnt realize there were a lot of problems pala. I dont want to have them fixed all, or I want to fix them but not all at once due to budget constraints so my question is this..

Alin po ba dun dapat ko e pinaka prioritize for fixing? Are these major issues that the car might break down along the way if I wouldnt have these fixed?
Okay naman car ko, tatakbo pa naman without obvious problems.

If the radiator fan is weak or not working anymore I would get that done first, then the distributor O-ring. If the engine oil is less than 6 months or 3000km old then you can probably delay this another 500-1000km, assuming the oil level is not too low, otherwise just top up with some regular engine oil for now. The others can be done whenever you have the budget.

The radiator fan if indeed worn out should be your first priority.

May patong sya ng konti sa parts pero nasa reasonable range naman...

Napansin ko lang kasi yung sa change oil kapag bumili ka na kasi ng 4 liters on the average thats 1K then less than 300 for the filter.

Kung baga kung kakagatin mo price nya to save you the hassle of going someplace else to buy your parts or ikaw bibili then pa estimate mo kung magkano labor lang then weigh your options

compressor meron 8k-15k depende kung ano brand tsaka kung bago talaga o reconditioned lang. pag bnew tlaga ok naman presyo yun 12k kasi kasama na dyan labor siguro tska full charge ng freon/ cleaning ng condenser and evaporator. papalitan mo na din ng expansion valve. san shop ba yan? try mo din pa-estimate sa ibang shop wag lang sa rapide hehe. san lugar ka ba?

ganyan talaga price niyan, be sure bago talaga and assembly, my additional pa yan filter drier palit pag bago ang compressor, minsan my ibang store kaya ibigay ng 10k yan parang gasolina yan pabagobago ng price...

Hindi naba lumalamig aircon mo? Baka kulang lang sa freon yan..

Always get 2nd or 3rd check ups from other car shops! Alam ng lahat gusto lang tayo perahan ng mga yan. Ask friends if they know a trustworthy mechanic.

Saan ba ang plano mong road trip, outside of cebu ba or within cebu lang?

Within Cebu lang po sir. province to province medyo 3-4 hrs din byahe one way.

Mag commute ka na lang sir. At least may chance ka pa na makapag-pahinga during travel. May chance din na may makatabi ka maganda chicks.

Kung within Cebu kalang tama lang unahin mo yung radiator belt at suspension bushing for the kalampag.
Sa A/C mo naman try mo yung Mits Air(?), I dont know kung nasa V. Rama pa sila, but the last time I was in Cebu may nakita akong Mits Air sa may F. Cabahug just in front of Jolibee Sykes. Kung minor mechanical repair, try mo yung service shop ng Petron-Mc Briones unahan lang ng Hernan Cortes Flyover.
