Kia CARENS Crdi 2.0 automatic ang oto ko.

Newly changed timing belt at atf fluid. Change oil will be done by next month.

may sinasabi ung mekaniko na parang related sa "throttle" dahil electrical daw ung oto at walang kable sa throttle.

Any ideas guys? Hirap pag electrical. Thanks.

    Here is the scenario.

At full stop, hirap umarangkada ang oto kapag full step sa pedal. No engine revs at an instant but after 3 to 5 seconds holding the gas pedal it will abruptly accelerate fast.

Another thing is kapag nasa gear 1, rev to red then the tranny will switch to gear 2 it will lose power especially on uphills resulting to go back to gear 1. In short, redundant ang change ng gear niya pag paahon. ## gain speed sa gear 1 then will shift up to gear 2 - loose power then shift down to gear 1 again.

Try resetting everything...bunutin mo negative side ng battery and wait for 10min before reconeccting again.

    Or

Try mo trick to recalibrate the electronic throttle... fully press throttle on engine off, then turn on to ignition...dont crank the engine. Wait for 10sec then release the throttle then fully off the key.

It has something to do with the adjustment of the throttle. See a mechanic to adjust it para hindi nasasakal ito at hirap umarangkada.

Electronic throttle control. No manual adjustments.

Mga walang alam sa electrical ang mga mekaniko dito sa antipolo e. Takot sila na galawin ang oto baka daw masira ung ecu.

Noted about the electronic throttle control.

since he has a CRDI engine, kindly check the following.

    1. check the EGR valve, it may be already blocked and needs cleaning.
    2. check the throttle position sensor, but this will throw a check engine light. better to have the ECU scanned for DTC.

First thing I check too when an engine has such problems, together with the air intake sensor, if it needs cleaning (MAF).

Eto lang ang sensible reply here. Sayang ang pera sa hula hula.

FYI, hyundai has a ecu script wherein it will shutdown the engine if fuel filter is clogged.

It will now that it is clogged becuase the ecu is monitoring actual fuel rail pressure values and comparing it vs. Its expected FRP values at any given engine load and speed.

Try mo kay Fronte sa banawe dalin.

your car's engine does not have emotions!
have it checked by a competent and experienced technician. avoid the "cheap mechanic". you get what you pay for
