port and polish,

mga sir,ask ko lng kung pano ba ang port and polish ng head?my pinapalitan bang parts sa loob ng engine?more or less mgkano kaya ang paport ang polish ng d series?

afaik sir primary done is your top part of your engine where the air and gasoline passes thru or the "ports" are polished... (pinapa-dulas) and the corners of those ports are also somewhat sanded down para maayos at mabilis ang flow ng both gasoline and air.

not sure with any add-ons or changes to the engine.. you can google it for more details.

in todays' engine, does it really helps if you do a ports and polish?
