    well, i read that some iridium plugs actually last longer than non-iridium plugs. but at a cost.

    your 20 year old car has only 120K on the odo??

    OEM = toyota K16RU
    replacement = NGK BKR5E

    kung gusto mo improve throttle response ng konti, K16RU-11 or BRK5E-11 pero kailangang i-adjust timing ng mas advance ng kaunti.

    original setting ng timing 10 degrees, naka short TE1 at E1 terminals sa diagnostic box.

    Was wondering whose idea it is to advance the ignition mas advance kaunti?
    Has there been a proof of improvement?
    Have they compared the ignition waveform on a digital storage oscilloscope?
    I'm just curious

    hope the plugs are not yet seized though. don't let someone remove it while the engine is hot.

    Sorry sir. No data to backup, this is purely based on experience. Ito engine ng "race car" ko dati. Street tuned nga lang.

    i-vtec ng honda (2nd gen crv, k20 engine), 30 degrees advance yung timing niya kapag binibirit base sa reading ng obd2 scanner (realtime).
