Guys, need your inputs. Sino dito sa atin ang nakapagkabit na nito? What are the pros and cons? I read somewhere that it increases HP and torque by 25%, saan ba pwede magpakabit nito?

AFAIK, johnpublic318 sells them. He currently works at the Land Rover dealership but you can catch him at Autoindustriya's Off-roading section as he is a moderator there.
Pros: increased power, plug and play
Cons: very expensive, some are not intended for sustained use, can increase fuel consumption, can cause more stress to engine

September 24th, 2006 02:47 AM #4Piggyback ECU may increase power but will shorten engine life.
The engine manufacturer programs the ECU to drive the fuel system for optimum power and engine life. The piggyback ECU forces more fuel and rpms to the engine beyond the engine's specs.
More fuel = more power = higher combution pressures & temps = shorter engine life.
