hi guys! nasiraan ung optra ng kaopisina ko. i think he'd had it for about 3 years na, ung 1st batch with the, um, unusual grill design, with about 20k+ on the odometer. naisolate ng mekaniko na ung fuel pump nga ang me problema -- me kuryente namang pumapasok, pero di siya gumagana.

nung pinahanap namin sa auto shop, 14.5k daw! i can only assume na orig ung pinagtanungan niya. me available na kayang replacement for this? me compatible/interchangeable parts kaya ito sa previous kia/other korean cars?

and talagang ganun ba ang presyo ng fuel pump these days, even for jap cars?

    thanks

newer gm vehicles have an electric fuel pump that comes as one piece. so when it goes dead, you have to replace the whole assembly. dont buy replacement. it is not durable. though, if you can find a japanese brand replacement, it will do. you can also find opel parts on those gm parts supply stores in binondo such as nemerson and thunder automotive.
