yes drop in is better than the cone type, especually if you ford in water, may water escape ang mga air filter boxes so the chances that the engine will ingest water is lesser.

and as i always say about Oz made things, it is much more dustier down under than here with us and their design is made for their dusty conditions, so i guess it is has better filtering qualities. remember K&N is a LOW restriction filter, hence increase in power. low restrictionm means less filtering IMO lang ha.

tama si arb, finer filter filters out the dust. not much performance gains pero does the job fine.
e puro alikabok naman pag nag-ooffroad tayo e.
k&n is primarily for on road use.

Just got my Finer Filter at RATS Katipunan kanina. P2500 + 500 for the oil. Madumi na kasi K&N drop in filter ko and nahihirapan ako maglinis. Ran out of filtercharger na kasi.

Whats good about Finer Filter is that its easier to clean. Just use kerosene to clean the filter, wash with soap and water, then apply the oil on the surface of the foam. Easier to dry pa.

Performance change? I noticed a "regained" engine response similar to the change I noticed when I first installed my snorkel. Guess that loss of power was attributed to my dirty former filter.

RATS recommends checking the filter every 2000kms.

Techinically, meron yan. Yung part owner ng RATS si Mike ganyan din ang ride nya nakita ko sa Makati branch nila. Kaya paniguradong meron ang tanong kung may stock sila.

Avoid compressed air. Hindi paper ang element ng FF.

may sticker na kasama yan that you stick beside the filter housing, parang warning that this vehicle is equipped with finer filter.
