Original or not will do. Also apply high temp. silicone sealant to the corners where the cam bearing caps, cranks angle sensor caps meet the cylinder head if you replaced the valve gasket.

Clean your PCV system. Inside the valve cover there is usually a metallic filter,
pag barado ito, the increased pressure in the crankcase can leak through your valve cover gasket within a short time after you replaced it.

Dati akala ko, low engine job na ko, but when my PCV system was cleaned nawala yung mga leaks at na-restore yung power ng kotse ko.

Hit the jackpot. True, most common problem of leaking gasket are clogged vacuum hose, PVC, oropice.

    Same question: for EFI engines

checking the PCV valve (this is for toyota from www.autozone.com)

Inspect the PCV system hoses and connections at each tune-up and replace any deteriorated hoses. Check the PCV valve at every tune-up and replace it at 30,000 mile (48,000 km) intervals.

The PCV valve is easily checked with the engine running at normal idle speed (warmed up).
    1. Remove the PCV valve from the valve cover or intake manifold, but leave it connected to its hose.
    2. Start the engine.
    3. Place your thumb over the end of the valve to check for vacuum. If there is no vacuum, check for plugged hoses or ports. If these are open, the valve is faulty.
    4. With the engine OFF, remove the valve completely. Shake it end-to-end, listening for the rattle of the needle inside the valve. If no rattle is heard, the needle is jammed (probably due to oil sludge) and the valve should be replaced.

yung sa leak sa distributor dapat alamin mo kung sa labas o sa loob galing yung leaking oil.

pag sa labas, yung o-ring and problema.

pag sa loob, oil seal ang kailangan palitan.

Kapag nag leak na ang gasket may tagas na. The only to correct the leak is to change the gasket.

    *V6dreamer,
what do you mean by change the gasket? the whole gasket itself? or just the cover gasket?

    *danesjr,
yep I'll be changing into an OEM cover gasket, but I dont know if that would resolve the Problem..

Still OT: on the part of Distributor leak? does that mean that my O-rings are worned out?

as i've said, it depends on where the oil is leaking.

the dist has an o-ring outside (can be seen easily) and an oil seal inside which can be inspected only by dismantling the assembly.
