Good am bros.. Sensya na, tanong agad bungad ko.. Anyway.. ito yung ginawa namin ng mechanic sa amin..

    1) Turn off your engine
    2) Locate your diagnostic connector, and look for terminal "OX1" and "E1"
    3) Get an analog multi meter (any brand can do)
    4) Select to 2.5Vdc range
    5) Insert the red colour probe to "OX1", and black colour probe to "E1"
    6) Place the multi meter on the windscreen, as near to the driver side as possible
    7) Start your engine
    8) Wait till it reach working temprature
    9) Keep your RPM at 2500
    10) Observe you multi meter's needle. It should be moving up and down, from 0 to 2/5 of full scale.
    11) Time your watch, a good O2 sensor will move the needle up and down for at least 8 times in 10 sec.

ang prob, di nagmove ang needle - idle at any scale.. kaya ngayon, magpapalit na ako ng sensor.. Just would like to ask kung ano yung part number para sa oxygen sensor (bank 1) ng vios 2006 1.5g.. again.. I apologize for the disturbance..

    TIA..

you should have at least one of these: code P0 136-abnormal ouput signal, P0137-open circuit or P0138- short circuit. check your wiring first. the black wire (terminal 2) should have battery voltage against ground, the pink wire computer (terminal 1) grounding (heater driver), the shielded white (terminal 4) AF (--), shielded black wire (terminal 3) AF (+). with the connector to HO2S disconnected, check the resistance between terminals 1 and 2 of the sensor ( not the harness) the resistance should be between 1.8-3.4 ohms at about 20 degrees celsius, between terminals 1 and 4 should have 10k ohms or higher.

Suggest avoid using analog multimeter such as Sanwa brand when performing electronic diagnostics. It has a higher current output which might damage other components. Better use digital multimeter in diagnosing sensor problems and has more accurate readings compared with the Jurassic analog type.
