Just so happens my engine requires 3.2 liters of oil. If my engine requires 4liters then i would top it off with just 3.8liters.

and we should never forget that the new oil filter just installed is still dry and needs a small volume of oil separate from the oil sump volume..

Oil filter oil capacity is also noted sir on my manual. 3.2 with oil filter and 3.0liters also with filter na sir.
