afaik 4g63 sohc mga yon, DOHC na kasi mga efi ng 4g63. Yan din sana balak ko sa Boxtype ko kaso naubos na budget sa repair ng body. So stick to stock na lang muna.

    Dear Sir:

Having owned a old model Mitsubishi Galant Sigma myself, I can tell you that you CANNOT rebore your engine to 2.0 liters.

The 4G33 is the 1400 version of the Lancer SL box-type it has the same stroke as the 4G32 (Saturn) but has a much smaller bore.

It also has a very small gear-type oil pump, built into an aluminum casing - driven by a small toothed sprocket off the timing belt.

The largest pistons you could possibly fit onto it are 1700 cc ones for the 4G35.

Nevertheless, I would not bore out such a small block, distortion is almost a given.

Also, I have had some very bad experience with our local machine shops lately - they sometimes screw up a rebore.

If I were you I would go along with your 2.0 Turbo plan - expensive but much better in terms of power.

    Sincerely,

    Dusky Lim
