The guy probably has insurance anyway. The car should be the least of his worries. Somebody might be out to get him.

Yeah, for sure the insurance company will pay for the damage. But:
1. it will come out from the carfax report - that will take off at least 10Gs on top of the depreciated price (compared to a "no accident" 745i)
2. police will have to ask you a thousand questions regarding the shooting - from the pictures, it looks like a gangsta-related violence

October 6th, 2005 12:37 AM #8Hmmm....
Masmaganda pa yata insurance companies sa Pinas! AFAIK yung sa insurance namin kahit anong klase ng accident sobrang minimal lang ng babayaran nung client.
Anyway, what was the conclusion? May galit ba sa kanya? Nainggit lang? Or just random shooting?

October 6th, 2005 12:54 AM #9I doubt if its "gang" related from the looks of the neighborhood and the car. The car does not even have 22's or 24's, and a jetblack tint job! One shot! I've never seen a gang related shooting empty "one" shell, its more like one clip.

October 6th, 2005 01:23 AM #101.) Gangs can form in virtually any neighborhood. Kahit sa mga upper class.
2.) A car does not have to be pimped out in order to be involved in gang related violence.
3.) Not all gang related violence involves a whole clip. Sometimes not even a bullet.
Choice I would have made as well.
