based on experience, bilhin mo na lahat ng mods na ikakabit mo. kapag naipon mo na mga parts, ipa install mo ng sabay sabay tapos ECU remap na.

para icorrect AFR at timing based on mod at fuel used.

para isang dyno tuning na lang kesa sa bawat install ng mod, magpapa dyno ka na naman.

^^^ Anti baha daw yan. Sa panahon ng malakas na ulan at bahang daan, ayaw mo pasukan ng tubig yung exhaust mo.

I was recently thinking about getting an exhaust kit for the pick-up (on the premise that it will be good given the engine is turbocharged). After some discussion with someone on the board (who loves blowing up his car), the decision was it's better to go for the ECU/chip upgrade if i wanted outright gains. If you add other modifications later on, you can re-tune further. (note: i decided to work on the suspension and brakes first since power is adequate for my day-to-day needs)

the noise is the trade-off, so its up to us of what we choose. im not saying i vote for the irritating loud mufflers, for the TS i recommend japan branded muffler that has a less restriction but with acceptable db level as per jasma.
A proper match of the system actually. With the same Sentra, the car had a Trust exhaust which i almost changed back to stock; when we installed the headers, the tone improved vastly (to a low, non-obtrusive sound) so it stayed on.

hmm, this makes me think to proceed with my plan to replace the secondary section of the headers from my old corolla. currently it have a stock tubular headers of 4age20v, the 2-1 section is a restriction design, i wanna change it to straight "even" diameter pipe to flow better, and it might lessen the loudness too, or even just to mellow the throaty exhaust note.

by the way, sa exhaust modification kung may gain man sa power very minimal lang o totally wala. and bigger diameter is not always better. kung gusto mo ng malaking power gain even without modifying your exhaust, remapping is your best option...

since si TS ay yung sound lang naman ang habol, palitan mo lang stock muffler mo ng mas maiksi o maliit na muffler then you are good to go, iingay na yan...
Di ko po makita yung previous post. Nasa ibang thead ba yun? Pero salamat po sa inputs. tignan po natin. medyo jargon pero magagawan nmn ng paraan. Salamat

one entire thread to modify the sounds.

aren't you all like di ba dapat silent lagi. like ninja. I adopt that kind of philosophy in life. dapat tahimik. Car engineers all over the world put every sound insulation sa engine para tumahimik, kung pede nga lagyan ng sound insulation ang tires gaga win nila.

pero this thread, gusto mag-ingay. why not read books the Personality test, and you'll find out that what you're trying to do with your cars is just a self-esteem problem. solve this and makaka-save pa kayo ng money sa mga third party repairs na unnecessary to begin with

btw, the world is heading to electric cars. cars used in Disney, other theme parks, dubai, and other green cities. now they're gonna implement it in Manila by order of Mayor Estrada.

I kinda like the sound of electric cars in movies. parang nakaka-releive ng stress knowing that you can move around without mechanicals or grinding metals. dapat ganun ang direction natin, hindi mambulahaw ng kapwa dahil lang sa loneliness

that's exactly the purpose of the muffler, to muffle or silenced the sound. the stock muffler was designed to do like that

but pinoy want to do the reverse, to shrink or get rid of the muffler to make it louder

blame it or it might be our fascination of V8 american muscle cars...kahit man lang yung tunog magaya

if theyre just intended to use in our traffic, that's perfect because it is slow & boring.

because modern engines are too techie you cant even replace a sports airfilter. but why would you like a modern vehicle to perform better anyway? it doesnt even need a high performance driver bec it brakes by itself, it steers by itself, it even heel-toe shift by itself.

    2016 Mustang exhaust - YouTube

This is why we like aftermarket exhausts.......

Checkout the video editing especially in the last 2 mins or so. Thats a local exhaust manufacturer. Drift Xaust. Astig ng video and nice muffler sound . Theres a donut somewhere there as well. The POV from the bumper is especially cool. I love the sound and the video editing.
