Just sharing from what I have read in Bitog as posted by dnewton3; synthetic oil vis a vis mineral oil

Fuel economy is most controlled by driver attitude and style; the foot is the main contributor/detractor to efficiency!
A realistic view of efficiency gain is likely 2% or so.

You can always test it and have recorded data to interpret from.

Paps magiging masyadong magastos ito pag tayo ang gagawa, dahil mahabang obserbasyon ito.

Buti na lang nandyan ang BITOG, at nandoon lahat ang impormasyon...

We hit a road block when you said "masyadong magastos".

Gathering data is not free. Pero when you test something personally, at least you have some control sa variables. In another thread here in tsikot, one member is I think claiming a 5km/L gain by just using 95 octane fuel over 91 octane fuel. I doubt I can get that gain by just switching fuel, but If it works for him, then it works for him, and he has his data to back him up.

Magaling marketing ng motul. They just put crdi sa bottle, then syempre people will buy it for their crdi rides without even knowing na CF lang sya.
    Its all about marketing

wow thanks for that info, good thing i checked up this thread before my oil change. and oh boy, motul really fcked up.

so cf rating is really bad not worth for the price. for my jurassic 4d56 adventure pwede na din, cf or higher naman daw sya according to my owner's manual.

maybe its time to try other brands

checked mine and it's CF damn, I thought I'm in good hands with motul (bec. of its price *700/L) been using the crdi-specific for years now.

ano kaya pwede kong ipalit na oil. i'm not really particular with the price basta maganda performance. thanks!
