I use a standard LPG tank, the same kind I use for cooking in the Philippines. It's a 11kg tank. You can use a standard cooking regulator they make about 0.5psi of pressure with is perfect for a N/A diesel.

You will need a solenoid valve to control when it is on and off. It should be only used at around 1500rpm and above.

This is a solenoid valve you can use any valve you like as long as it's rated for gas. You will need some fittings to connect the hose on as well, With the N/A kit you don't need a adjustable regulator .5psi is just enough to give you a nice bump in power and fuel economy.

Your hose will go right after your air filter.

    home made propane kit

I have been doing these systems for about 18 years, Never had a problem, You use the right hose, set it up right, right regulator, activation source and you will never have a issue. I know one member on here that runs it. goes by Dust. You might want to shoot him a PM. He has had it for years along with the methanol injection on his N/A diesel.

Unless someone shoots a surface to surface missile at your car you don't have to worry about the tank, It that got ruptured in a normal car accident you probably all ready be dead. Just make sure you mount it because it can not tip over when in use because you could inject liquid vs vapor. I have had mine on there for 2 years, Can't live without it the power kick is just to much and my fuel economy is insane.

Very good fc you got there.

Question, how do we actually adjust air-fuel ratio in non-efi engines?

Adding LPG adds fuel, It also burns the 25% of wasted diesel your vehicle cannot burn on it's own. It also increases injection timing. Think of it like a chip in bottle.

Mods to a diesel engine? : )
