ok naman daw according to vios thread, since ito viscosity nilalagay sa casa and nakalagay daw sa owners manual. gusto ko lang subukan for 3k km, kung mag improve yung NVH; if not baklas ko dashboard (sabay AC cleaning narin) para mabawasan yun rattling.
Basta huwag mo na pakialaman yun first number. Walang kwenta sa atin dito ayan
For me personally gusto ko 40 yun viscosity dahil Feeling ko mas protected engine pag sa mainit. Compare sa 30.

Vibration of the diesel engine is due to combustion of deisel fuel
Responsiveness on the accelerator is due to the nature of the oil. The thinner the oil the less fuel you need to burn in order to accelerate

Diesel vibration. Even the "refined" Euro ones have them. Vibration also in part due to straight 4's not being inherently balanced. I'm still wishing companies would make a straight 6 turbo diesel for vans and PPVs. Sadly with engine downsizing being the trend, probably won't happen.
Relatively speaking, a higher viscosity oil will make any engine quieter, at the expense of fuel economy. Assuming that the oil used is within the engine's allowed viscosity range.
I think that's what he meant.
Engine vibration is not the same as internal mechanical noise.
This video is filmed somewhere in the States or Canada (I suppose).
It may change the way we understand about oil and change oil intervals.

3k km interval ba sa mineral oil recommeded * mostly metro manila traffic sa umaga? Sa gabi kasi wala naman traffic on the way to work.
