Total has its Quartz Gold 5w40 synthetic oil, API SN. P1680 per gallon yung kuha namin. Naubusan ng Idemitsu oil yung malapit na UniOil station so napilitan gumamit ng iba for the Jazz pero oks naman yung Total Quartz Gold so far.

Mas mura pa ata yung bentahan ng Zic synthetic oils. Mga 300 per liter kuha ng kaibigan ko kasi isang carton bilihan nya for his Montero Sport (7L per oil change).

Sir are you referring to the total quartz 9000? Mukhang okay sya.
Hindi pala sya gaanong mahal, i'm expecting it to be 2,000+ per gallon.

Total is a partner of Renault/Nissan/Infiniti. Red Bull/Toro Roso F1 teams use Renault engines on their F1 cars.

Baka next year pa dumating yung SN rated sa bansa natin hehe

For a small price difference, go with the HX7 5w40 semi-synthetic. I used it before on my 2001 Accord. Just make sure to change oil every 5k km though I found it to be still ok after 6k+ km. Medyo may kamahalan yung HX5 or HX7 kung bibilhin sa Shell stations though if you can find them cheap somewhere, go for it. Kung gagastos ka ng 400 per liter ng HX5 or HX7, I would suggest you use Idemitsu synthetic 5w30/5w40 or Total Quartz Gold 5w40 synthetic instead kasi synthetic na tapos nasa less than 450 per liter plus up to 10k yung change oil.

I opted to use 40-weight oil for protection but looked for semi-synthetic options. Kung hatak lang, di ka mabibitin sa Accord pero I found the HX7 to warm-up faster compared to my alternative oil.

Yung alternative oil ko was Valvoline NextGen 10w40. I found it to be a good semi-synthetic oil for its price. 5L kasi kelangan nung Honda F23 VTEC every oil change. Nung naka-source ako ng HX7 for half its retail price (bulk buy), stay na ako sa HX7 kasi sulit sya.

Welcome bro. If I may ask ano yung exact na nakita mo sa blade/true value?

Some mitasu oils use additional grp4 or grp5 oils to their base oils. Which model number did you see?

Its a good price nonetheless. Most likely ACEA A3/B4. If its ACEA A5 then its improved fc.

Sirs, need your professional opinion, my ride has a PMS interval of per 5K odo reading, but mine takes about 7-8 months to reach that 5K. I used Regular oil on my last PMS, should I stick to that or use Fully Synthetic oil instead? Though I use my ride everyday.

We went to La union this weekend, few days before that i changed my oil to motul and tried a different vicosity, thicker than the recomended 5w30, just a precaution, i know i was driving in the 3k-6k rpm most of the time....oil temp never went up above 103 C, added a can of ceratec...just to be on the safe side
