Its required for chevrolet/gmc vehicles. Its a more stringent requirement compared to ap-sn. Its at least semi synthetic to fully synthetic. No conventional oil will pass dexos1 certification.

If the engine oil bottle like the new zic a+ doesnt have "meets or exceeds dexos1" statement on it and only contains api-sn/gf-5 then its an api-sn oil/gf-5 only. There are other versions of zic a+ that meet dexos1. But certainly not the bottle of zic a+ that was shown earlier nin this thread.

    Ah Ok Sir, thanks po.
So basically GM vehicles lang at wala sya significance sa ibang manufacturers.
    Thanks po ulit

    Delvac1 esp 5w40 = mobil1 tdt 5w40

Fyi "Delvac1 5w40" is the top of the line delvac1 hehehe. The "delvac1 esp 5w40" version is different.

    Good purchase nonetheless. Amazing price!

just want to give my feedback on delo 400.
change oil 2 weeks ago using delo 400. drove 100km since....
I say very disappointing. hindi madulas, mas umingay yung engine.
problem is... there's still 4900km to go
    i'll give it 2/10

i saw how my mechanic drained the oil pan.
he put 2 liters of diesel to the engine to dilute the oil before draining. then used air compressor.
mga 2 hrs after draining the pan, (simut na simut) bago kinarga yung delo 400.
1st time ko lang na experience yung ganyan. been using top1 sdo before trying delo.

Sana hinde pina start yun engine after ilagay yun diesel. Nakakpalambot kasi ng mga seals yan. At sana yun air compressor meron air-water separator.

Same with shell gaspang na pigil takbo.

So its better to try the oil and compare.

I think that's the right adjective... magaspang ang takbo.
nakakainis din kasi lumakas ang vibration.
    4850kms to go

    malamang mga 3000kms palit na.
will probably try zic x7 10w30 next unless somebody will give negative feedback on this
