Try the power booster (diesel fuel additive) of petron late 90's pa yan gamit ko and gas saver (gasoline fuel additive) since 2000 pa ko gamit nito.

Papi Lyle, saan nakakabili nyan? I just changed my oil yesterday from Honda Genuine Semi-Synth 5w-30 I shifted to Mag1 FS 5w-30. Parang mas mabigat ang hatak ngayon. So I'd like to try din yang Idemitsu next time.

    MOBIL DELVAC 1 5w-40

i also used this oil for my diesel engine cars,
    2002 crosswind,
    2013 montero and
    2008 dmax,

I also tried using Rimula R4X. Maganda talaga response in the first 2k kms. Pero my ride became sluggish nearing the 4k kms mark. I used it for 6 months only since I did not get past the 5k kms interval. My previous oil was Shell Helix Ultra E. I'm planning to use Mobil Delvac MX next time.

sir, try mo r4x 1 more oil change to see if same feedback ba. now kasi in between shift ka ng oil e. im sure may naiwan pa na delo400 from your previous oil change.

done with my 10k pms with the hilux, opted with the toyota FS 5W 40W this time *php 4,472.93 for the 7L oil.
from mineral 15W 40W; engine idles much smoother(less vibration felt at the steering wheel), mas madulas na syang humatak ngayon.

asked toyota kung anong brand gamit nila, Caltex daw. idk

Trying an oil needs at least two oil changes with that particular oil. Since we dont have access to oil analysis.

Also diesel soot control and sulphur/acid are tough especially with our fuels. Following manufacturer oil change interval will improve engine life.

Using universal diesel engine oil for 6months kahit less than 5k. In my opinion is too long. Delo400 multigrade or shell rimula r4x doesnt have extended drain interval in their respective literature.

CI-4+ rating niyan. I'm using it for 6 months or 5,000kms whichever comes first at under severe driving condition pa classification. We'll it's your opinion nga naman pero wala ka basis. Dami dito specially sa pajero club, real life experience basehan.

Kahit DGU or Mobil delvac mx at Shell Rimula R3X pa nga dati every 5,000kms or 6 months palit ko no problem.

Used the following for the Crosswind:

    -Mobil Delvac MX
    -Shell Rimula R4x
    -Caltex DGU
-Idemitsu Mineral Oil (forgot the model)

For me, so far the Delvac tops among the 4. Followed by the R4x then DGU. YMMV.

Nice review. We share the same sentiments. Maganda talaga Delvac MX.

    Guys,

Nababasa ko ok ang delo. Ano ba ang specs ng delo? At how much?

Thinking of using zic x7. 5w-30 or 10w30. Fully synthetic. Pumapatak na 245 per liter lang. 5k change oil.
Thanks

    Delo400(Mineral) 15w40 API CI-4 Plus .. 220 per liter..

So far, satisfied ako sa Delo400..

Mineral , semi synthetic or fully synthetic?
