feedback naman sir sa brand na ito. nasa 950/set ang price, taiwan made daw. ok ba to? ang alam ko kasi sa mallary is USA made yun? feedback naman sa brand na to mga sir, kung sino na naka gamit nito.

OT: ano ba mas maganda, seiwa japan or mallary taiwan? mas mahal yung seiwa nasa 1,200 petot yung mallary 950 petot pang 4afe mga papsi.

Tried a US Mallory HT wire way back 2006, so far so good, it lasted even until I sold the car last 2009. Don't know if the new owner has replaced it already http://tsikot.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif . With regards to the Taiwan made, don't know if it has the same quality as the US made, seems too cheap compared to the US or higher performance HT. I suggest Sir you stick with OEM part just to be sure.

problem is auto supplies here in bicol seldom sell oem parts, panay replacement parts lang available, by order pa sa manila kung oem.

im not trying to modify my engine FYI. as i have sad earlier OEM parts here in my place are NOT AVAILABLE. so i have no choice but to buy an AFTERMARKET WIRES

I guess there would no difference in performance and longevity between the two, noting that the price is not at the level of 'super conductors ignition wires'.

Personally, I will go for OEM, but so far I have yet to encounter performance issues using replacement parts . I replace my Hi-tension wires yearly though, as adviced by CASA mechanics, anyway it is only around P500.00, Manila price.

I had a losing experience using a well known expensive 'super conductors' before which I bought from one of the car shows. The wires are OK but the sparks were so strong that they were jumping through the HT-wire boot caps before they reach the spark plug's tip. That I thought was dangerous.

It is a great relief that newer cars are aready using Direct Ignition, bye-bye na sa HT-wires and other related parts.

Sir firstly, why do you need to change hiten wires? Anyhow Mallory not mallary is a known brand long time na so if youre confident with the vendor na orig yan then it's ok to replace as long as sira na yung luma.

naku wag po kayong gagamit nung made in taiwan.
mukha lang makapal yung wire nun pero pag tiningnan myo po yung loob, ang nipis!

may crack na yung luma kong HTW, tumagal din yun mga 2yrs ko din nagamit, seiwa ang brand nun color red yung wires,

bumili na ko ng bago, seiwa pa din pero black na ang color ng wires, atleast japan hindi yung mallory na taiwan.
