how old is that FD? 15yrs? mind you the product is for 75000 miles or 120,000km

February 20th, 2019 04:38 PM #2uy correct si stockengine 75000 miles pala. not kms. if you want synthetic i agree also with egan zic is probably more a match especially if your civic was well taken care of (i.e. regular oil changes, no leaks). zic makes good bang for the buck synthetic oil.

Di naman mapili sa oil yung R18 engine ng Honda. For fully synthetic, puwede 0w20 or 5w30 or 5w40. Kung mineral or semi-synthetic, puwede 10w30 or 5w40.
Try mo Zic X7 5w30 fully synthetic, very affordable din.

February 20th, 2019 05:25 PM #6share ko lang din, high mileage na yung hilux ko, current odo reading is 400081 kms. nag Zic 10w40 X7 diesel ako from 370k kms to current, may existing oil leak na sa crank shaft oil seal, pero nung Zic na gamit ko, nabawasan oil leak pero meron pa din. kumbaga, nagpapawis na lang siya imbes na tulo.

My fd2 has been using mag 1 5w-30 for quite some time now. I then tried zic fully synth to see how it'll fare on it but for reasons i can't explain, its consumption went inexplicably north. [emoji780]
Eventually i went back to using mag 1. Mas hiyang ata iyong kotse ko jan eh
