That's pretty much the effect if the voltage of the electrical system drops.

Check if the battery is good.

Check if the connection to the battery is good or loose.

Is your car diesel powered? (brake boost is by vacuum pump at the tail of alternator)

    Possible causes:

Imprope alternator belt tension, worn alternator belt, weak alternator, non-functioning AC idle-up mechanism, weak engine power (any cause).

Sentra ECCS...Sorry, I failed to notice it.

I'm wondering, what is the idle-up mechanism of this car when AC is on, vacuum assisted, electronic spark advance with IAC valve activation.

    Suggested order of inspection.

    1. Battery connections and battery
    2. Alternator belt
    3. Alternator
    4. Idle-up mechanism (is idle 750 RPM when AC is on)
    5. ?
    6. ?

Is the battery indicator on the dashboard lit up?

Almost the same set of symptoms happened to our ECCS a long time ago. 2 days later, it will no longer start due to a dead battery. We later found out that the alternator brushes were already worn out and it was no longer charging the battery.

insufficient ang supply for quick check,, start your engine , while running remove the battery terminal & observed the engine sound. at dapat ay still running parin at pag namatay si engine! si alternator ang salaring!

Low RPM with headlights on and other problems...
