October 4th, 2009 02:08 PM #5Remove the negative terminal of the battery before disconnecting/reconnecting the ECU.
On the Yaris/Vios, the ECU is in the engine compartment. It's the thing that looks like an amplifier with heatsink.
On Pajero (gasoline) its behind the glovebox.

October 4th, 2009 02:48 PM #6Mga bro yung sa Inova alam nya ba kung saan nakalagay yung Computer box? kasi yung inova ko lumubog hangang kalahati ng dashboard, now wondering kung may pagasa na hindi nasira yung comp box. Kasi baka matagalan lalo ang repair.
Sa ngayon nga hindi makacommit yung Toyota C5 kung kelan pwede makuha yung auto.
