(personally i dont recommend this for personal vehicle use) there are a lot of better oils out there!!
*Vic filters are not good filters if you intend to prolong your engine like it just rolled out of your casa... there are also a lot of alternatives filters out there which is 200% better than VIC, examples(baldwin/fleetguard/purolators/bosch)

i suggest you read the REMOTE BYPASS OIL FILTRATION THREAD...

the only problem with those brands is availability.. most auto shops carry VIC or OEM filters.

You can try surfing pinoysuperstore for your filters (bosch/Mobil 1). But oils, well there is obviously better alternatives than Petron.

baldwin/fleetguard and purolators have impressive micron rating for its filtering capabilities.. you can easily go 10,000kms...
the best combination would be outstanding filters and oils with CI-4/SL rating of which must have at least a minimum of 10 TBN...the important thing is that the oil you will choose should have a posted product data sheet
so that you know what you're paying for and what you're actually getting...
definitely you will be able to SEE and FEEL the difference...

Buhayin ko lang thread nato. Just curious about the company issued innova diesel that is religiously maintained by toyota shaw. The casa replaces the engine oil(toyota brand full synthetic) fully only every 10,000 kms. However, every * 5,000 kms interval, what they do is to replace the oil filter and top up only. And this is being done during the warranty period by the way. So it comes out na mura na din overall. Just sharing my actual experience.
