Nag TDC#1 ba sila ng before puling out your distributor?
My suspect is they did not get the timing correct when they returned the distributor. This is the reason also na bumaba ang idling after the job, increasing it will not correct the timing. Wild guess lang po sir.

hi guys,
have the same problem. i own a 97 honda accord VTI-S, automatic. i used to experience between 6 to 7 km to a liter, and slightly below 6 whenever i drive aggressively. about 2 1/2 years ago, i installed the khaos gas saving device. i noticed that my consumption just averaged around 6 km to a liter. i used it for a year and then removed it. last year, after i had it tuned up sa casa, i noticed that my consumption even went below 6. it was now averaging about 5.5 km to a liter, hindi pa mabigat yung paa ko nyan. i normally have my car checked and tuned-up sa casa. two months ago, after my last tune up, i noticed that my consumption is now below 5 km to a liter.
casa changes spark plugs every 10,000 km and changes oil every 5,000 km. i use their spark plugs and oil. the oil they put in my car is Honda genuine oil 10 w 30.
ano kaya ang cause ng increased consumption? is it the oil? kung hindi naman oil, may problema na kaya yung makina ng kotse ko? timing lang kaya ang problema? any ideas where i can have these items checked aside from casa?
