I have d same problem before w/ my lancer glxi 97 wherein nag drodrop yung rpm ko eventhough bagong tune up na sya. Considering fixed pa timing since distributorless din yung engine. The problem was found out to be caused by that mechanism which was attached to the throttle body ng fuel injector. Nakalimutan ko yung name nung part na yon but it cost around 6000 yata kapag brand new and around 2k yata kapag surplus. I guess electronic part din yun kse may wire na naka attach dun. Hope this help.

September 24th, 2004 05:04 PM #22May effect rin yong tension wire. That happened to my honda also. Nung napalitan yong tension wire nawala. D ko lang alam kung nagkataon lang but perhaps their is a connection.
