    Second question? How often or seldom do you reach the redline... Is it a safe and good practice? :?:

    My car: 7000rpm redline, cutoff just below 8000rpm.

    Safe yes. Better even than sticking to the "in-traffic" range of below 3000rpm because it takes your engine components through their full range of motion. Just make sure the engine is warmed up properly and that you cool it down properly if you're going to drive hard.

    Ako, 4,500 rpm. Madalas dalas din ako nakakarating doon. Pero ngayong mahal na ang krudo, paminsan-minsan na lang.

    starex - 4800 rpm
    kia pride - 6800 rpm
    '88 patrol - 4000 rpm

    Mine is 6900 RPM, and I regularly reach that mark before, but now I refrain from doing so to save gas. :lol:
