help! sinisinok corolla ko

hi newbie lang po ako dito, un pong car ko sinisinok kahit anong gear pero mas malakas sinok nya pag 1st,2nd gear. bagong palit po ung timing belt at tensioner pati 4 na engine support bago narin, naiinis na po ako kasi kumakadyot ito pag tapak ko sa gas pero pag high speed na nawawala na po. ano po kaya problem help naman po .
corolla trd 96 po pala car ko 4afe.

kung fuel-injected engine mo, baka marumi throttle body. pero kung di-carburetor, baka marumi lang yung carburetor mo.

In addition to this, check the high tension wire that connects the spark plugs from the distributor cap. See if it is still in good condition ( no cracks and does not feel brittle ). While you're at it, check also the condition of the spark plugs, see to it that it's not too black at the end. Hope this helps.

possible culprits (although summary lang ito nung mga nasabi na nila)

- defective high tension wires
- dirty fuel filter
- dirty carbs or injector
- worn out spark plugs

salamat po sa mga info. EFI 4afe po sya spark plug ko naman ok naman po ang sunog kulay brown siguro ok din naman ang high tesion wires, try ko pong palinis ung throttle body.
pwede mong magtanong kung magkano kaya fuel filter nito 2years na po ko di nagpapalit. may kinalaman po kaya clutch disc dito? thanks!

had this prob with my car few days ago though mine is honda matic...

this is what my mechanic did.

1. replace the fuel filter-madumi na as in kalawang na when he tried to clean it.
2. fuel pump-ok naman daw.
3. fuel tank-its still clean no dirt inside.
4. throttle body - cleaned with carburator cleaner.
5. clean the Splugs.

so far ok naman ang auto ko and medyo gumanda ang hataw.

fuel pressure 35psi* idle, snap throttle 40psi

ign timing 8deg BTDC *idle

spark test at least 25kv

check for codes

Ask ko lang sir if we have the same issue sa car ko (93 corolla; Carbs). Do you experience sa car mo pag naka idle in Neutral, Paiba-iba yung RPM nya. Hindi nagsesetle. Pag tinapakan ko naman and increase the RPM bigla nalang mawala' and babalik naman ulit pag bitaw sa acceleration. and kong naka 1st/2nd gear and sometime 3rd gear pagnag-acelerate, parang mawala yung 'sinok' pero bag bitaw sa acceleration ayun nanaman, inconsistent ung RPM nya pababa- hindi smooth. Ganito din ba yung sayo'?, if so I should check the same thing as the guys have already provided. thanks

thanks sa info, ung idle ko naman ok. pag umarangkada lang 1st, 2nd gear madalas kumadyot, pero try natin ung advice nila, salamat nga pala sa info mga sir.

kailangan mo yung shop na specialized sa driveavility issues , kaya lang mahirap ata humanap ng ganito dyan

You may do the things mentioned before, plus check the carb, it may need overhaul, Kamuning area in QC can help you on this.

manual or matic ba? and ano ba ibig sabihin mo sa sinisinok? naka 3 kotse nako parang di ko pa nexperince yang sinok. Anyway, "sinisinok" lang sya 1st -2nd gear. then idle and rekta eh wala naman. Baka naman wala sa timing ang timpla mo ng gas at clutch at kaya nag d-drag yan oto mo sa arangkada. yun ay kung manual oto mo.

manual po. sinisinok kakadyot sya pag arangkada ko, pag 2ng gear ganon din madalas mangyari to habang umaandar ako tapos halimbawa release ako ng gas tapos tapak uli un kakadyot na, mas madala pag naka aircon ako. pero kahit off air con kumakadyot parin.

i think you should also consider the ignition coil and the distributor if its in good timing....
