    Guys! Alam nyo naman ride ko di ba? 91 Sentra, ECCS, 1.6L, Automatic...

    Maganda naman ang idling nasa 1000rpm, at minsan may days na ok ang takbo...pero at times, bigla nalang babagsak ang rpm! kahit nasa high speed ako, pagpalit ng gear, biglang babagsak at mamatay ang engine!
    minsan naman, pag traffic, pag quick brake, pag baba ng rpm tuloy-tuloy na hanggang zero... dati na nyang sakit to, sabi, madumi ang AAC valve, i had it replaced, so naging ok na.

    tapos, naulit nanaman. sabi, carbon-cleaning lang daw ng throttle body hanggang exhaust. naging okay rin for a few months, pero ngayon, ganun ulit!!

    nakakatakot na kasi delikado sa daan pag biglang mamatay nalang without warning! solution ko nalang e pagnakikita ko pabagsak na ang rpm needle, e magrerev ako, (kaso pag traffic, di naman maka-abante, so neutral,brake, at rev para di mamatay..) para tuloy nagfi-feeling manual na yung kotse ko...

    sabi ng mechanic ko, electrical na daw ang problem, sa ECU, kinukulang ng bigay ng power...sa casa ko na daw ipa-check...

    any other opinions here??

    (wala naman effect yung I-H-E setup ko dun right?)

    just a guess, clogged fuel filter. also have ur plugs checked n sparkplug wires.

    throttle body cleaning... isa rin yan sa pwedeng gawin...

    nag pa change spark plugs & adjust a/f mixture?

    your idling also is too high (it should be around 700-900 rpm). ipa tune-up mo kaya sa medyo mas reliable na shop (like speedyfix).

    pwede din sa distributor cap.. check mo kung maayos pa contacts

    dami causes. spark fuel and air. these are the basics in diagnosing your problem. any one will cause your engine to conk out.

    check mo alternator mo kung ayos ang karga sa battery or check the battery

    hindi kaya sa HT Wires yan. May sira/crack/break na yung wires

    had a similar problem b4...yng fuel filter namin ang nag-cause ng pag-patay nung makina...baka madumi yng gas or maling gas ang nalagay dyan kya ganyan...after namin palitan yng fuel filter namin naging ok na...

    I had the same car and same problem. Check the air sensor plug/socket, it might be loose or dirty. Spraying it with some contact cleaner will help.

    same problem. Parang pag mainit nangyayari sa gsr ko. Parang kinakapos ng hangin sa higop sa airfilter. Mahina din pasok ng kuryente ko kaya hindi ako nakapaglagay ng monster tach Ano kaya ang magandang gawin. Pinacheck ko na sa rey's dati pero wala naman daw problema

    ako din ganyan problem dati, 1994 Honda Civic 1.5LX MT.. first, pinaoverhaul ko ung carb, ganon pa din ngpalit ng fuel filter ganon pa din, tpos pnacheck ko sabi may "crack" na yung ignition coil sa distributor kaya replaced it, ganon pa din, then last one is i replaced the "magnetic switch" nung carb, tpos since then no problem! woohooo!

    pwede rin servo... yun problema ko dati... high-tension wires palit, distributor pinaayos, fuel pump, fuel filter, air filter, etc... dami sobra! 1996 mazda familia glx... yan lang ang tanging sakit ng ulo nun sasakyan

    hunch ko lang...How about the fuel pump, di kaya it does not pump enough gas on some occasion to the engine, there are cases kasi that if marumi yung carboreator or fuel filter...na dadamay yung fuel pump...yung mga rubber seals sa loob nag bloc..block yung gas to the engine....

    Pa check mo yung MAF sensor baka sira or madumi na yun.

HELP!! RPM DROPS and ENGINE DIES EVERYTIME
