i'm having a problem with my toyota innova 2006 gas. tinanggal ko lang yung battery kaninang umaga to re-start another car. nang gagamitin ko na yung innova, napansin ko na biglang nag iba yung idling. bumaba ng husto. it used to be at around 1200 after initial startup, then goes down to around 800. but now, it seems to be just at 500-600rpm.

ano kaya na apektuhan nung pagtanggal ko ng battery? nangyari na ba sa inyo ito. ok na ok pa yung sasakyan ko yesterday, in fact galing pa lang kami subic last weekend, ang ganda pa ng takbo nya.

    any suggestion is highly appreciated!

most pcms (ecu) lost their learned values when performing a battery disconnect. some driving will help the pcm to relearn.

Or, there might be a procedure to do an idle-learn for your vehicle.

thanks sa suggestions. i've been using it for 3 days now kaso ganun pa rin. aside from casa, may alam ba kayong shop na pwede mag-check ng ecu?

Nag-reset ang ECU. Adjust lang ng idle kung masyado mababa.

This might sound like a silly question but tanong ko parin.
Did you connect the battery properly, loose or dirty poles, grounds pulled, wires not reconnected, fuse blown.

Actually, that's what happened to the TS. Doing it again will just put him back into the same predicament.

happened to me last year when my ride was repainted. matagal naka-tengga iyong makina at kotse dun sa shop kaya naka-disconnect iyong battery as per their sop.

when i initially brought the car home from the shop, the idling was too low for comfort. but after a few days it regained its normal idling speed so i guess the relearning the value concept mentioned above is correct

help! nagbago idling ng tinanggal battery
