    Mga pare ko, sa hood sticker ng car ko may nakalagay na idle speed: "800 rpm", tapos fast idle speed "1800 rpm reference", sa isang car ko naman" fast idle speed 3600 rpm reference" Tanong : ano po ba ang ibig sabihin ng fast idle speed? thanks

    From google:

    Idle speed is the speed of the engine when left alone to run.

    Fast idle speed is the speed needed to overcome choking when the engine is still cold. Ito yung mapapansin mo na medyo mataas ang RPM sa umaga.

    Don't know if that's accurate...

    yup. ganun na nga ang definition. pero ang taas ata ng 3600 rpm na fast idle speed. para ka nang tumatakbo ng 100+ kph na bagong start lang hehehe

    which car has the 3600rpm fast idle speed reference? AFAIK, 1800 ang standard.

    sir, yung liteace ko po ang meron 3600 fast idle speed reference. Masyado ngan mataas iyon kung yung ang dapat fast idle speed sa umaga. Pero yung ang nakalagay sa sticker. Kaya nga confuse ako. Thanks for your reply...

    now i understand. ganun pala yun. kaya pala every morning when starting up it goes around 1000-1200rpm ang idle ko, pero pag takbo na ng mga ilang minutes bababa rin 800rpm.

    nabasa ko sa isang car maintenance guide sa net na 3000rpm daw fast idle speed ng 4AF.

    ndi ko naman maitaas yung rpm kahit i turn ko yung fast idle screw.

    isa pa, madali mag start yung kotse kasi bagong overhauled yung carb. pero ang problema naman is after 2 mins or so namamatay na siya na parang naubusan ng hangin.

    anu kaya problema nito???

    isa pa, yung yung TVSV port (???) na meron four small hoses na naka connect to aND from the carb is namamawis kasi gawa ata ng gas. normal ba na merong dumaloy na gas dito???

    paano mag adjust ng idle ng toyota revo 2001 2.0 EFI?

    i wouldn't tinker with an efi engine if i were you. usually you adjust the amount of air that is sucked by your engine to increase or decrease its idle speed.

    If thats my car i will not touch the idle settings.. I'll go for casa or other reputable shop for a idle tuned up.

    mahirap na bro baka kulangin sa gas nyan .. sakin nga carb lng pero nag ka prob na me kasi ayaw mag start kpag hindi tama ang idle.
