hyundai excel po sasakyan ko, alaga nman pero biglang may ingay sa makina (takatak), sumasabay pag nagrerevolution.. kapag hinahataw ko ng matagal ( long distance) nawawala yung ingay den about 2 wiks dahan dahan nanamang bumabalik. di nman mausok ang tambucho ko, regular tune-up, and malakas parin humatak?

ano po kaya sira? overhaul na kaya? normal parin kse ang hatak nya at wala pang usok.

Your engine sounds like it has a slightly sticking valve. Buy "Marvel Mystery Oil" and put it in during your next change oil. Dont forget to use engine flush(solvent) before draining the old used oil to help remove sludge and restore the rocker arms, valve, valve lifters and piston to improve H.P, fuel economy and performance. That takatak will go away...

it might be the oil. if it's too thick it will not go up into the head which will result in the noise. do a quick oil change and see if it helps.

kakachange oil ko lang po 3 mos ago, nag engine flush rin ako that time, city drive lang po ako usualy kaya 5mos due ng change oil ko. try ko po ulit pa change oil gamit yung advise ni v6dreamer na MARVEL MYSTERY OIL. magkano kaya 1 gal nun? tnx bro

wow! well, kung 200K miles na then I bet that the rocker arms (or valve tappets) are wearing out. either way, have the Valve clearance checked and have it adjusted if needed. pero pag na i-adjust na at pag maingay pa din, then theres a possibility na due na yan for a Valve job (or as what they call it in the Philippines, "top overhaul")

what kind of noise is it? like metal to metal banging? or your excel is beginning to sound like an Isuzu Jeep?

i wouldn't use any additives in the engine. you might screw it up even worse.

Kung diesel ang Excel mo, subukan mo magpa check ng nozzles. Baka meroon kang isang nozzle na stuck up. Good luck.
