I'm kinda new here in Tsikot. Gusto ko lang magpatulong sa inyo, I'll be honest wala akong gaanong alam sa mga parts ng car. I just bought my Wigo (1.0 A/T G variant) since kelangan ko ng means of transpo dahil medyo mahirap magbyahe sa current location ko.

Marami akong questions and may mga pics ako to support my questions and para clear sa inyo.

    Story:
Dinala ko sa casa yung unit ko for 20km check-up/Parts and change oil (yes ngayon lang ako nag seek ng help kung kelan 20km na haha). Usual total bill ko sa previous check-ups ay ~5-6k lang pero this time umabot ako ng ~9k. Tapos may advise pa sakin na sa next check-up ko na 25km ay may A/C something check-up ng kasama (based sa Warranty Booklet) which would cost me ~8k daw.

Additionally, meron pa silang gustong ipapalit ng air and aircon filter sakin worth ~4k lahat pero hindi ko muna pinapalitan kanina.

So, I computed na ~17-18k ang gagastusin ko sa 25km check-up ng unit ko.
    -Check-up/Parts and Change oil = ~5-6k
    -A/C check-up = ~8k
    -Filters (Air/Aircon) = ~4k

Questions: (Considering na mavovoid ang waranty ko)

1.) Kailangan ba talaga yung A/C check-up (25km) based on Warranty Booklet? If yes, baka pwede sa labas ng casa yun?

5.) May mga excess motor oils silang binibigay sakin after maintenance. Pwede ko bang ipunin yung same motor oils and sabihin sa casa na kung pwede ay yun ang gamitin?

    ----------------------------------

Sorry po kung long post and maraming tanong. Sobrang tanga ko talaga kasi sa ganito.

Salamat po sa mga sasagot at magbibigay ng advise.
oil, oil filter and gasket lang po ang essentials.
all the rest are optionals, and you can ask they be deleted.
even the sparking plugs may be deleted; they have a much more longer working lifespan than what we may be asked to believe. many years ago, when they were relatively more expensive, we would clean, adjust and re-use them until they got worn out. mine has gone over 30K, and when they checked the sparking plugs, they said it was still good.

i also have a wigo. the casa does not anymore riddle me with the optionals, when i go in for pms. i think, their computer already has this warning, "customer is a cheapskate. don't bother with the optionals."

and yes, keep the oil for future use. bring them for the next pms. you can even mix it with other similar-use oils.

instead of decarbonize, drive the slex or nlex at speed, and enjoy a good meal in the province. that'll probably be as expensive or even cheaper than de-carbonize, and just as effective, in removing carbon deposits in the engine.

wigo is a re-badged daihatsu ayga. also rebadged as a peugeot and citroen.
but if toyota stands behind it, that's good enough for me. after all, toyota owns daihatsu.

Depends on type of Spark plug, only Iridium and Platinum can last 75-100k kms

...and not all cars are designed for Iridium and Platinum spark plugs!

... that essentially is why the word "some" is in the sentence ...

... it's not such a good idea to mix oils of different brands and viscosity ...
