Too many possibilities. To avoid costly guesses and mistakes, have tests done; mechanical-compression test, cam timing synchronization, valve lash test/adjustment, exhaust back pressure test. Electrical-battery age and condition, capacity,-ignition voltage output, spark plug compatibility and condition. Fuel system-pressure and volume, injector spray pattern. Controls-check for diagnostic trouble codes, check data stream. Remember, have tests done before embarking on guesswork. When you have the numerical data on the tests, post them for analysis and recommendation.
