Fuel System and Carb Cleaner

having used both, i'd say there's no adverse effect using those two products. i use fuel injector cleaner(the one you mix with the fuel in between fill-ups) and the spray-on carb cleaner. normally, i would use the fuel injector cleaner during my PMS every 5000 kms. as for the carb cleaner, i used it once when my throttle-body becomes dirty (rough idling, erratic idling, etc.).

yan po ba yong pag biglang taas ang idling? pag start ko kasi nasa 1200rpm then baba na siya for few minutes nasa 600rpm. pero minsan tumataas na naman going to 7500 to 8500 w/ or w/o ac....

oo yun nga. i suggest, try mo muna linisan yung throttle-body mo using spray-on cleaners. hulaan ko, naka-K&N ka? yung biglang taas nang idling sa pag-start,normal yan-kasi pag nasa normal operating temperature ka na, bumababa na yan sa 750 rpm give or take a few.

di ako sure kong naka K&N? ano po ba yong K&N? new lang kasi oto ko galing sa bayaw ko kaya di ko pa gaano alam kong ano mga nakalagay at kong ano ano mga yon... oo pag start ko ng oto nasa 1200 rpm niya then pag medyo matagal na nasa 700-800 rpm na siya. basta ang alam ko yong filter eh di na yong datihan. parang malaking cup lang na nakalagay. remember ko eh parang racing filter ata yon.. yon na po ba yong K&N?
